Found a replacement editor for notepad on CCMOVE, ( editor》,by xxCMCC for A1200,2008.8.24).

A simple text editor
Support more than 17K of the big text file
Decoding support for the way custom
Support for the code conversion and encoding Save
Support for multiple languages custom
Automatically delete BOM

Command-line call that
editor [-f <file name>] [-c <codec name>] editor [-f <file name>] [-c <codec name>]
For example:
./editor -f "/mmc/mmca1/hello.txt" -c "UTF-8" . / editor-f "/ mmc/mmca1/hello.txt"-c "UTF-8"

In addition to the above have been introduced to supplement the use of that experience:

There are two ways to use:
1. Click on the icon to open a new text editor, at this time of the default encoding to UTF-8. You can enter text, but also can bring their own "open" function to edit the file selection;

Editor doesn't add the special characters, like notepad, so this editor can be used to edit system files like CardRegistry or *.cfg.

Attached is the original and an english version, which I only changed editor.conf & editor.destop for english names.

I had trouble installing editor.mpkg with MPKG installer & SmartAsst. I changed the ext from mpkg to pkg and used SuperMan to install. Maybe someone can figure out the install issue.

Remove zip ext & unrar.

It works perfectly, even you can save with .conf, .ini, .lin, .sh and .txt extension great¡

PD: you need to rename from mpkg to pkg because the mpkg's need to be signed, if it not, it doesn't install, that's for we use mpkg installer, or superman...etc, to install not-signed packages

There you go... I've slightly modified rto1170's version. The original posted version did not completely adhere to the PKG format specifications. I corrected the problem, the one I've uploaded should work fine with SmartAssistant! Enjoy!

P.S. Remove the ZIP extension from the uploaded file so that you end up with a plain RAR extension.

i have install your attachment it install correct with smart asst but once i click on the icon nothing happens just blinking i have also tried with mpkg installer same thing just blinking nothing happens its not open at all pls help someone

Same problem here, once i click the icon, nothing!

hope this can be fixed, i really like the idea of a better editor that the notepad.

Even I got the same error;

Strange issue ("undefined symbol: _ZN14ZMultiLineEditC1EP7QWidgetbiPKcb" too)... it worked when i had amin EE1 MP, then i reflash to anoter fw and it doesn't work anymore... my conclusion is that this problem is for libraries or something... someone with amin Extreme elite f/w could attach the libraries here??

Hi, worked great with amin's extreme elite, just renamed in pkg first post.
@Dark Avenger, please tell me whath library you need, with ezxcodec it's esasy, but please tell me the folder and I will post.

It worked fine for me too on 25P. I don't use it all that much though. One thing I noticed some time back is that if you leave the app open and then do something else on the phone, you can't get back into the app - you have to exit via task manager and then open it again.
