aED-Dloader is a Java J2ME file download manager midlet that allows you to download files and attachments from popular file sharing sites directly from your mobile device. You can also resume file transfer in case a download is interrupted.
Key features of aED-Dloader for Java J2ME include:

- Download Files from Rapidshare, 4Shared, Mediafire and many more sites directly from your mobile phone

- Download attachments from other sites

- Auto Resume: If a download is interrupted the transfer is automatically resumed when the connection is restored. (only id server supports download resume)
- Resume anytime: With this feature, you can start downloading a file, stop it, turn off your phone, reboot it and then resume from where you left off.

- Less memory consumption: uses about 4 to 5 RAM while downloading
- The last dowload link is saved for future reference so that you can re-download a file without having to re-type the same URL a
gain

- Trick Mode : if you want to download using the @ trick and not worrying about editing your URLs it will be
automatically edited.

NOTE:-NOW IT IS TOUCHSCREEN COMPATIBLE BUT MINIMIZE DOES NOT WORK

hi,

Actually I know where this came from and I strongly think it was made EXCLUSIVE for that community. If you install this java app, you can see that forum site name in its startup screen. Also it is only made to work for Philippine Network users so please delete this here from Motorolafans.

Admin, If you want proof I will PM you the direct link of the original post of the author of the app.

More Info - Built using JAVA thus can work with any java enabled mobile phones, can pause and resume downloads(if server supports resuming of downloads).

Tested on - N73, N95, N82, N70, 6600, 6300, N76, N80 and many more....

now the latest version is working but its not touchscreen,but most of the thing is supported by our phone only the two softkeys are not working which i think can be done by java adapter

now with touchscreen support using java adapter added and works very wel on our A1200
as proof i have downloaded one 100MB file from rapidshare

I would like to add one more app.
The UCWEB browser, which also has the Download Manager.
It is fully touchscreen (not adapted one).
Resumable Downloads.

Other exciting features are,
Screen Rotation in both the direction (OM has only 1)
File Viewing : Images, Text, Videos (Not tried all but is a nice feature)
Can see stored files directly through this browser
Supports upto 2 tabs (OM has only 1)

I see but have you tried installing the app itself? You can see that community site in its startup screen. I will PM you the thread link of that app in that community.
