i download and install it successfully but every times i statup operamini, it always ask me about java permission though i already set all permissions are Ask once per application ????????? i need help, not just operamini, all java program i install always ask like this
how solve this?

I have flashed my phone with Amin's Montser Pack (No doubt a great one). But the problem is with Opera Mini 4.1. Although its version 3 is working well but after installing and starting when it come to check the fonts and other setting suddenly it stops and give error. I have tried all my best by applying many other fonts etc but in vain. Actually i wanna save the browsed data which is not possible in version 3. I came to know that in Version 4.1 you can save images etc. So, please if you good guys could possibly solve this problem. I think that the problem is only with Amin's Montser Pack. I searched and went through all the stuff but the complain was only with this firmware. So please help me in this regard.

I can not remember the reason for this off the top of my head (it is buried in some thread somwhere). There is nothing that can be done to remove this restriction." (Kiwiguy)
you can install and run Jhacker to change permissions for all BUT internet related apps

I havent used this FW nor have i seen this issue with this SPECIFIC FW, so i've sent a PM to it's creator AMIN to see if he has a fix.

I posted this on the E6 forum quite a while back, kinda forgot to put it up here. Sorry.

Anyway, the thing is for the damn software to be able to access your storage card (for offline page storing and/or for direct download of files), you'll need to be downloading the certified versions of the software. Which, rather sadly, can be done only thru the phone itself (ie, the wap site mini.opera.com).

And hard as i tried, i couldnt get the signed versions to install on my E6. You guys keep me posted if you have any luck with the 1200's

This IS the signed version, i changed the thread and the link from the beta (which was posted long ago) to the FINAL version, should work for you now.

if you refer to post #9 of that thread you'll know that we realized that the final version was out when it was out (sometime mid may i think). But again, the links you are pointing to, ie, the computer directed website of opera mini do not have links to download the certificate versions. (either that, or i'm blind). I can see only one jad and one jar that i can download, which is currently 4.1.11355.


if i go thru the default browser of the phone itself. then you have an option of downloading the jad/jar files of verisign certificate, or thawte certificate or multiple certificate, or no certificate (the same one as that available thru the link you've posted).

and what i've seen is that the phone fails to install the jad/jar files other than the uncertified one. let me know if you acknowledge what i'm saying, or is there something i'm missing. cuz i quite desperately want all the offline features, etc to work.

well, you gotta use applyfont application and open with the attached font with that.
