I am glad that it worked. If you were not satisfied with the increase of the volume even with the maximum option (+eight), you could modify eight files named "drfun_volumetable.cfg.X" (where X = 3 to 9 and X = 0) located in ".system/QTDownLoad/volset", and increase values of your desired property (e.g., "loudspk_music" for increasing the loadspeaker's volume). For instance, at the moment, the first property (loudspk_music) of the first file (X=3) includes a row of ONEs (1, 1, ..., 1). The same property in the second file (X=4) includes a row of TWOs (2, 2, ..., 2); and that of the last file (X=0), which includes the maximum values, includes a row of EIGHTs (8, 8, ..., ). You can, for instance, double the values of the first row of these eight files, making the maximum = (16, 16, ...), which (I think) is still safe.

I think, VolSet won't increase the volume of the loadspeaker (for playing music) in some MODDED firmwares and Monsterpacks, because the first row of the volume table of some of such firmwares may already have values higher than even option +8 of VolSet (for loudspk_music). However, Volset can still be useful for such firmwares for increasing the volume of other options, or by modifying the files that I mentioned above.
Thanks! The speaker broke on my flip cover and I bought a non-oem replacement and soldered it together. It worked OK but the volume was a little low. With this software it's now back to normal!
Hi,
Using bint's showQ, I modified VolSet once again! I divided 19 different parameters of the volume table into 3 ranges (1-7, 8-14, and 15-19), from which you can select the desired range.
To Install:
1) Uninstall your previous version of volset (If you have it)
2) Remove ".zip" from the name of the attached file, and install it as a normal pkg

Update: I improved the front-end of Volset (see sample images in post #42). Remove ".txt" from the name of the second attachment and copy it (i.e., volset.sh) into the volset subdirectory in ".system/QTDownLoad".

oh one more thing i don't really notice a difference in my ringer volume and music isn't that loud. Ear piece volume is ok at +3 or +4 but i have loud speaker at +8 and still can't notice a change. what's up?
