here is application for animated screensaver.

you may change the animation after installing it.

Go to .system> qtdownload> qexgif folder & replace 0.gif with any other 240×320 gif animation.Name of animation must be changed to 0.gif. double tap the screen to close the application.

Didn't work. When I open it it shows the animated gif on the screen, however it doesn't show the phone stuff on top of that, basically becoming a gif viewer.

And the worst part, while it was showing nothing else worked. Anything I tried to do would be active for a second and then go back to the gif.

Since I couldn't even get to the task manager I had to reboot the phone to get it working again.

Its a screensaver.All screensavers work that way.You have to exit the application to return to home screen . Just double tap the screen , you need not reboot .

Hmm... ok, I feel stupid, I read wallpaper, not screensaver...

Nevermind then, it works, however I will uninstall it because now I really don't see the point.

but is there any way to make it work auomatically?? i have to click the app everytime i want a screensaver...

a screensaver usually pops up after a few mins of inactivity... is there any way of doing that? & any method of it working with flip closed?

of course the screen saver should run on its own after few seconds of inactivity. If this does not do that. its not a screensaver. why one should run it everytime? lolz

Thats what I am telling. You took my sentence wrong way. If this software is not running on its own, its not screensaver. I mentioned general sententce that any screensaver should run on its own. As you people are not getting proper result, I even did not install it.

yes, i misunderstood your pun... now when i read it, i understand ... this shows how different humans perceive things differently...
