[APP] EXMMS WINAMP V0.21 - mp3 player (Blackhawk version)

I think moderators could upgrade this topic to a STICKY.

This application is very important for us (A1200 users).

For instance, last week when travelling by plane, i use the Real Player and the sound at 100%, but the turbine sound of the plane is louder than the maximun sound of the phone.

Nowadays, with Exmms and the headphone option, the sound is superb, extremely high. Perfect for noise places.

Hope to see upgrades!.
Developers please help BlackHawk to include more options, bluetooth compatibility, multitasking, etc.

I didn't get the icon on menu...

btw REALLY GREAT app, A1200 would be welcome if it comes from factory with such great app like this

I tried aksd's pkg and installed successfully, now the icon is showing on menu but I tap and it doesn't open

Its funny that people think this is Winamp, and aven't really Heard of XMMS

Anyways, I was thinking, can this plugin be included?

hey where can i download SUPERMAN from i can't seem to find it and the exmms.lin is not executing because it need a application that runs .lin extension so where can i download that .

I'm running libraries and binaries as per the new Library Path and Binary Path on memory card and its working fine. Do you require any help with the app? Can we use E680 codecs and libraries for music playback?

The pkg is working fine on my E6, so I really dont know waht the problem might be. Please un install all previous versions of exmms even the chinese ones before installing or it wont work. Am out of town at the moment will be back on sunday and compile the pkg again.

hey its not workin here either I did some testing with it , I think it s becuz the way it installed it needed the lin file to be renamed or something... well anyways this one works perfect .. I changed the icon replaced it with a winamp icon..

@ E6 users I noticed if you lock the phone while in winamp (using the hardkey of course ) and then unlock it , it will exit winamp but winamp will still be playing in the background so you can play games and run other apps while listening to music , I tried making a phone call but I couldnt hear anything . the good thing is you can receive calls . the music stops !!! . to go back to winamp (to close it or load more songs ) jus tpress on the icon again it ll go back to it right away !!!!

Once i thot installing superman, but i have a hell lot of apps installed, & installing superman will mean replacing the whole .system folder, which means i'd have to install all the programs !! So, i didn't... & as per the saying " No pain, No gain", i had to do without exmms for a while

hey rajarshi, u can instal ''smart assistant'' witout erasin the prior installed applications !! just go through the FAQ sticky...
i tell u..smart assistant application is a charm !!! u try it n u will know it !!
(just remember for english version u need to manually install it i.e., copy smart assistant folder into .system/QtDownLoad n copy the cardregistry details into the .system/java/cardregistry)

You don't need to replace your .system folder. Just merge the files with an application like Beyond Compare.

with your inspiration, i finally gave the manual installation a try, & after messing up a couple of times, finally succeeded in installing...
