Yes, it is very probable, as at the current time there mite not be any sun or moon at the location you have selected... try the app when the sun is up, & if you still get the same message, try reinstalling

I had the same problem once... the app was working fine, & i was fiddling with the fon, & somehow in the process something was messed up in the app... it kept showing no sun or moon even in the daylite... when i uninstalled & reinstalled, it again started working fine..

I don't think that trying it when the sun is up will make any difference... I can see you need that to *use* the compass, but it's not going to explain why the icons aren't appearing on the screen to begin with.

How about its compatibility with A1200? It does not support touchcreen does it? When prompted to select my location on a global map that shows up, I can't because I have no hard keys except for the touchscreen. And this app doesn't respond to any touchscreen input. Help? !!! Seems like a cool app.

could anyone tell me how to instal the compass.jar cause i am not aware of linux os functionalities. i try to open it with smart assistant but it says "not a mpkg file format" which is true. but i guess i am not getting the logic. any help would be greatly appreciated

BTW jar files don't need any special installer.. just click and install

I've finally got it working.. Useful app, thanks for sharing!

P.S. About some people mentioning that it doesn't work indoors, that's bull#$@&. It works even in a basement several feet below the ground. In this case, of course, you'd have a problem since you can see the sun on your mobile screen but not the real one

Ok, first of all, thanks for this app, but, I'm not sure about this really works, because A1200 doesn't have something to check directions, just could be with cellphone connection to our service provider, but is just my opinion, thanks.

It uses complex mathematical operations to calculate the sun's and moon's position based on your position on Earth (coordinates) and of course, based on time/date.
